When a second shooter is required to hire or artist for a crafty project I have in mind, it’s not merely the end product that’s important to me, but also the person I am hiring/supporting. I love when people are genuine and authentic with me, so in return I will do the same for you!
Who are you hiring?
I live in the small town of Stillman Valley, IL-blink as you drive by and you’ll miss it. I love my hometown, but there is so much outside of the cornfield walls that has yet to be explored by me. My passion for traveling was ignited not because I wanted to escape out of my town, but because I’ve explored every bit of it and I wanted to discover what else this world has to offer.
Fast forward a couple of years from the young girl who thought traveling would be always kept on paper underneath words that say “bucket list”…
Now, I am traveling to Wisconsin, North Carolina, Virginia, and other places to do what I love most-photograph. It’s been a journey, to say the least, to get where I am today. My senior year of high school I decided to start this business in hopes it would take off; four years later and my summer is filled to the brim with weddings and I’m already booking weddings for the next year.
I reluctantly admit that I am a bit of a workaholic, which I think is partially the reason why my business has grown so quickly, I never take no for an answer and burn the midnight oil.
But when I do allow myself time to get away from work, you can find me reading a good book at my favorite coffee shop, playing the piano, or spending time with my family and friends.
I hear many people say that the photography industry is too saturated for new photographers to enter into. While I do see their argument, I always tell them one thing-people don’t book you for their wedding, engagement, senior photos, whatever session it may be, just because of the product. Having your photos taken is an EXPERIENCE and I want to give you the ultimate experience of a stress free, personalized, self-assured session.
